She was found to have hearing loss due to fluid in her ears, she was operated on and tubes/grommets were implanted into both her ears. She is now able to hear better. The doctor originally diagnosed her with 60% loss of hearing, after the tubes were implanted she was almost 80% normal hearing. She was not tested again since the operation and is due to visit the doctor in Singapore in a few months.
