Today we did a 6.3km run for charity. She did it in 55 minutes. I was worried she would not be able to handle it because our daily run is only around 2.5km plus walking another 1.5km but not only did she complete it with ease but she wanted to do the rest of her program and finished earlier than normal. Her focus and body control during her program after the run was amazing. She was like a different child. She did brachiation (swinging on an overhead ladder) with great speed and launched herself off like I’ve never seen before completely independent. She did her forward, backward rolls much faster than before. Even her understanding was better. Tomorrow we are going to try to run without much walking for the whole duration and see if she is the same again. It’s exiting to think we have found a key
part of her program that really produces outstanding results.
