She was diagnosed with Dyspraxia, Apraxia and Low Muscle Tone at the age of three years in the UK after seeing a team of specialists. I always had a suspicion there was something wrong before her first birthday. The day she was born i didn’t hear her cry, she was a quiet child even during her first few months. We had a lot of trouble feeding her back then because of the cleft palate and being in Malaysia there was limited resources to find the correct feeding bottles. Even the Hospital was not prepared for a special feeding teet for cleft Palate babies and we had to feed her using a cup very slowly or the milk would come out of her nose.
